Pastourelle de Clerc Milon Pauillac 2016 is the second wine of Château Clerc Milon, a Fifth Growth estate in the Pauillac appellation. The 2016 vintage is a Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend that combines the structure and character of Pauillac with a smoother, more approachable style.
The wine displays concentrated fruit, polished tannins and vibrant freshness. Aged in French oak barrels, it develops additional layers of spice and savoury complexity while maintaining its elegant fruit-driven character.

Tasting Notes

Colour:
Garnet red with bright ruby and subtle purple reflections.

Nose:
Elegant aromas of brandied morello cherry, blackberry, cassis, ripe plum, cedar, pepper, mint and subtle oak spice.

Palate:
Medium to full-bodied, with concentrated black and red fruit, a creamy texture, fresh acidity and well-integrated, structured tannins. Mocha and savoury nuances add depth.

Finish:
Long, powerful and refined, with lingering dark fruit, mocha, mint and gentle savoury-mineral notes.
