Château de la Roulerie Coteaux du Layon Blanc 2025 is a beautifully balanced sweet white wine from the Coteaux du Layon appellation in France's Loire Valley, made entirely from Chenin Blanc. The estate is organically cultivated, with the vineyards planted on schist soils characteristic of the Layon area.
The 2025 vintage, known as Le P'tit Layon, combines vibrant freshness with natural sweetness. The grapes are harvested at optimal maturity and traditionally vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks before ageing on fine lees in stainless steel. The wine contains approximately 57 g/L residual sugar, balanced by lively acidity that keeps the palate fresh and energetic.
Despite its sweetness, this Coteaux du Layon is described as lively and refreshing rather than heavy, showing citrus and exotic-fruit flavours with an airy, harmonious palate. It is suitable both as an aperitif and alongside desserts, blue cheese and spicy or exotic cuisine.
