Chateau Gruaud Larose Saint Julien 2016 750ml
Château Gruaud-Larose Saint-Julien 2016 is a prestigious Bordeaux red wine from the Saint-Julien appellation and a Second Growth under the 1855 Classification. Produced from the estate's gravel-rich terroir, the wine reflects the classic Saint-Julien style through its concentration, freshness, structure and aromatic complexity.
The 2016 vintage is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and Cabernet Franc. A long, warm and dry period from late June through the end of harvest allowed the grapes to achieve excellent maturity, resulting in a powerful yet balanced wine with concentrated dark fruit, firm tannins and excellent freshness.
