The Château Lascombes Margaux 2012 750ml is a distinguished Bordeaux red wine from the prestigious Margaux appellation on Bordeaux's Left Bank. Château Lascombes is classified as a Second Growth (Deuxième Cru Classé) under the historic 1855 Classification of Bordeaux.

The 2012 vintage was a challenging but ultimately rewarding growing season in Bordeaux. Uneven weather conditions during flowering were followed by a relatively warm and dry late summer, allowing the best-positioned vineyards to achieve good ripeness and concentration. The resulting wines generally combine freshness, elegant fruit character and approachable structure.

Château Lascombes' blend is based primarily on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with Petit Verdot contributing additional colour, structure and aromatic complexity. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides cassis and structure, while Merlot brings generous plum and blackberry fruit.

With bottle maturation, the 2012 Lascombes develops aromas and flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry, plum and dark cherry, supported by violet, cedar, tobacco, vanilla and subtle earthy notes. Its polished tannins and balanced acidity give the wine a refined and harmonious Margaux character.
