The 2017 Le Marquis de Calon Ségur is the second wine of Château Calon Ségur, a renowned estate in the Saint-Estèphe appellation. This vintage showcases the estate's commitment to quality, offering a wine that is both approachable and expressive.

The blend is dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Cabernet Franc. Aged for 17 months in oak barrels, one-third of which are new, the wine presents a deep ruby color. The nose reveals aromas of ripe blackberries, cassis, and plums, intertwined with floral notes of violet and hints of cedar and herbs.

On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a silky texture, balanced acidity, and fine-grained tannins. The finish is long and harmonious, with lingering notes of dark fruit and subtle spice.
