The Château Pichon Comtesse Réserve Pauillac 2022 750ml is the second wine of Château Pichon Comtesse de Lalande, one of Pauillac's most prestigious estates and a Second Growth (Deuxième Cru Classé) under the historic 1855 Bordeaux Classification.

Produced from carefully selected grapes from the estate's vineyards, Réserve de Pichon Comtesse offers an approachable expression of the château's distinctive Pauillac style, combining Cabernet-driven structure, ripe dark fruit, freshness and elegant tannins.

The 2022 vintage was marked by a hot and exceptionally dry growing season across Bordeaux. Despite the challenging conditions, the vines benefited from their deep-rooted terroirs and careful vineyard management. The resulting wines are generally characterised by ripe fruit, concentration, structure and freshness, with the best examples balancing power with precision.

The wine displays expressive aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry and plum, complemented by violet, graphite, cedar, tobacco and subtle spice. On the palate, it is concentrated yet polished, with ripe tannins and refreshing acidity providing balance.
