The Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande Pauillac Grand Cru Classé 2019 750ml is the prestigious Grand Vin of one of Pauillac's most celebrated estates. Classified as a Second Growth (Deuxième Cru Classé) under the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, Pichon Comtesse de Lalande is renowned for combining the power and structure of Pauillac with exceptional elegance and finesse.
The 2019 vintage is regarded as one of Bordeaux's outstanding recent vintages. A warm growing season, combined with well-timed rainfall and favourable conditions during the final stages of ripening, produced grapes with excellent concentration, ripe tannins and vibrant acidity.
The wine is built predominantly around Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and Petit Verdot. It displays an intense aromatic profile of blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry and plum, layered with violet, graphite, cedar, tobacco and subtle spice.
On the palate, the wine is powerful yet remarkably refined, combining concentrated dark fruit with precise acidity and silky, finely grained tannins. The long finish reveals the characteristic mineral and savoury complexity associated with great Pauillac.

Colour:
Deep, opaque ruby-purple with brilliant crimson reflections.
Nose:
Intense and sophisticated with aromas of cassis, blackberry, black cherry and ripe plum, complemented by violet, graphite, cedar, tobacco, subtle vanilla and sweet spice.
Palate:
Full-bodied and concentrated with layers of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherry and plum. Fine-grained, polished tannins provide impressive structure, while vibrant acidity brings freshness and precision. Subtle graphite, cedar, tobacco and spice add complexity.
Finish:
Exceptionally long, refined and persistent with lingering cassis, dark berries, graphite, cedar, tobacco and finely textured tannins.
