The Clos du Mont-Olivet Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2015 is a benchmark Southern Rhône wine from the historic Clos du Mont-Olivet, one of the most respected family-owned estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Established in 1932 by the Sabon family, the domaine is celebrated for its traditional winemaking philosophy, producing elegant, terroir-driven wines from an exceptional mosaic of vineyards across renowned lieux-dits such as La Crau, Montalivet, Bois Dauphin, Les Cabanes, and Palestor.
The outstanding 2015 vintage is crafted from a traditional Southern Rhône blend led by Grenache, complemented by Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and other permitted Rhône varieties. The grapes are hand-harvested, partially destemmed, and traditionally fermented before ageing in large oak foudres, preserving fruit purity while allowing the wine to develop remarkable depth and complexity. The warm growing season produced wines of exceptional concentration while retaining freshness and balance, making 2015 one of the finest Rhône vintages of the decade.
