Clos du Moulin aux Moines Bourgogne "Clos de la Perrière" Monopole Rouge 2022 is a refined Burgundy Pinot Noir from the estate's exclusively owned monopole vineyard. Located south of Puligny-Montrachet, the enclosed parcel has sandy-silt-limestone soils and a warm south-facing exposure. The wine is fermented with wild yeasts and aged for around 12 months in oak barrels, with approximately 10% new oak. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered. 

Tasting Notes

Colour:
Bright ruby red with subtle garnet reflections.

Nose:
Wild cherry, raspberry, red berries, rose petals, red pepper, and subtle earthy notes.

Palate:
Silky and expressive, with juicy red fruit, vibrant acidity, fine tannins, and a gentle mineral character.

Finish:
Long, fresh, and lightly spicy with lingering red berries and earthy notes.
