Degani Amarone della Valpolicella Classico “La Rosta” 2020 is a rich and traditional Amarone crafted by the historic Fratelli Degani estate, a family winery dating back to 1900 in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. Known for producing authentic, terroir-driven wines, Degani combines classic appassimento techniques with a refined, modern balance to create an Amarone that is both powerful and approachable.

Produced from carefully selected Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone grapes, the fruit undergoes the traditional drying process (appassimento), concentrating sugars, aromas, and structure before fermentation. This method gives Amarone its signature richness, depth, and velvety texture.

The 2020 “La Rosta” vintage shows generous dark fruit, spice, and silky tannins balanced by fresh acidity and mineral lift. The wine is matured in oak barrels for extended ageing, allowing complexity and integration while preserving the distinctive elegance of Valpolicella Classico.
