Del Professore Gin à La Madame No.2 is a limited-release expression of the iconic Italian “bathtub gin” style created by the Del Professore collaboration. It follows the philosophy of pre-prohibition gin-making, where distillates and botanical infusions are blended rather than purely re-distilled, resulting in a richer, more aromatic and slightly amber-hued spirit.

The “à La Madame” style is designed to be more expressive, spicy, and gently sweet compared to the drier “Monsieur” expression. It highlights a layered botanical profile built from herbs, spices, citrus peels, and traditional Italian aromatic ingredients, reflecting a more experimental and gastronomic approach to gin production.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Light amber / golden tint (from botanical infusion)

Nose: Juniper-forward with citrus peel, orange zest, cinnamon, cassia, and warm herbal spice

Palate: Rounded and aromatic with juniper, lemon, orange peel, warming spices (cinnamon, cassia), and soft herbal sweetness. Slightly richer and more textured than dry London-style gin

Finish: Long, gently sweet-spiced finish with lingering citrus and botanical warmth
