Dictador Aged 12 Years is a Colombian premium rum from Cartagena de Indias, crafted to deliver a rich yet approachable sipping style.

Its combination of alembic and column distillation gives the rum a medium-bodied character, while solera maturation in oak contributes layers of caramel, honey, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and gentle spice.

The result is a smooth, rounded rum with a distinctive roasted-coffee and dessert-like character, making it suitable both for sipping and for refined rum cocktails.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Rich amber with warm reddish highlights.

Nose: Intense and inviting, with soft caramel, honey, lightly roasted coffee and dry seeds, followed by medium oak and subtle vanilla and spice.

Palate: Smooth, rounded and medium-bodied, showing caramel, cocoa, honey and coffee, supported by creamy oak, vanilla and gentle baking spice.

Finish: Long and clean, with lingering oak, cocoa, coffee, caramel and subtle tobacco-like warmth.
