Dom Pérignon P2 2004 Champagne 1.5L (Giftbox) is the second-plénitude expression of the celebrated 2004 Dom Pérignon vintage, representing an extended period of cellar maturation that allows the Champagne to develop greater depth, complexity and intensity.
The P2 Plénitude Deuxième is not a different vintage, but a later stage in the life of Dom Pérignon. After extended ageing, the wine enters a new phase of expression, developing additional layers while retaining the tension, freshness and precision characteristic of Dom Pérignon.
The 2004 vintage is known for its generous fruit character and excellent balance. With extended P2 maturation, the wine develops greater aromatic complexity, combining ripe fruit with toast, spice, mineral and savoury characteristics.
Presented in a 1.5L Magnum giftbox, this format is particularly appealing for collectors and special occasions.
Tasting Notes
Colour:
Golden yellow with fine, persistent bubbles.
Nose:
Complex and expressive with ripe citrus and stone fruit, gradually revealing toasted brioche, dried fruit, spice and mineral nuances.
Palate:
Powerful yet precise, with concentrated fruit, vibrant acidity and a creamy, energetic texture. Layers of citrus, ripe stone fruit, toast and spice develop with time in the glass.
Finish:
Exceptionally long and persistent, with mineral freshness, toasted notes, spice and lingering fruit.
