Domaine Abbatucci Ministre Impérial 2023 is a distinctive Corsican red wine produced by Domaine Comte Abbatucci, an acclaimed estate known for preserving indigenous Corsican grape varieties and practising biodynamic viticulture. This expressive cuvée brings together seven traditional grape varieties, reflecting the rich viticultural heritage and unique Mediterranean terroir of southern Corsica.
The 2023 vintage reveals an intense and complex aromatic profile, featuring ripe red berries, wild blackberries, redcurrant and blackcurrant, complemented by aromatic Mediterranean herbs and subtle floral nuances. Its generous palate combines concentrated fruit with elegant tannins, gentle oak influence and the characteristic mineral expression of the estate.
Produced using traditional winemaking techniques, the wine undergoes extended skin maceration and ageing in large-format oak barrels, followed by maturation in stainless-steel tanks.
