Domaine De Guilhon D'aze Armagnac 1962 700ml
Domaine de Guilhon d’Aze Armagnac 1962 is a rare vintage Armagnac from the historic Gascony region in southwest France, one of the oldest brandy-producing areas in the world. Distilled in 1962 and aged for decades in French oak casks, this expression represents a classic example of mature Bas-Armagnac craftsmanship.
Armagnac from this era is typically produced using traditional continuous copper still distillation, resulting in a more robust, textured, and character-driven spirit compared to Cognac. Extended ageing in oak barrels allows the spirit to develop deep complexity, rich colour, and the signature “rancio” character prized by collectors.
As a 1962 vintage, this Armagnac is considered extremely rare, with remaining bottles sourced from limited private cellars and specialist négociants.
