Domaine de la Bouïssière Gigondas “La Font de Tonin” 2019 is a prestigious red wine from the mountainous vineyards of Gigondas in France’s Southern Rhône Valley. Produced from old vines growing on limestone scree and rocky soils at elevations of approximately 300–500 metres near the Dentelles de Montmirail, this cuvée combines concentration, freshness, and remarkable structure. Predominantly Grenache, complemented by Mourvèdre, it expresses the character of its high-altitude terroir through layers of ripe dark fruit, Mediterranean herbs, spice, and earthy complexity. Traditional whole-cluster vinification and maturation in French oak barrels help create a powerful yet refined wine with smooth tannins and excellent ageing potential.

Colour:
Deep, intense ruby red with garnet and purple reflections.

Nose:
Rich aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, ripe plum, and dark cherry, complemented by liquorice, black pepper, dried herbs, and subtle earthy and oak nuances.

Full-bodied and concentrated, with generous dark fruit, firm yet polished tannins, warming spice, and balanced freshness. Its layered texture combines power with a refined, mineral character.

Long and persistent, revealing dark berries, savoury herbs, liquorice, and gentle spice.
