Domaine Joblot Givry "Préface" 2022 is an expressive red Burgundy wine crafted from Pinot Noir grapes in the Givry appellation of the Côte Chalonnaise, France. Produced by Domaine Joblot, this cuvée showcases the estate's focus on fruit purity, careful vineyard management and the distinctive character of Burgundy's southern wine region.
The Préface cuvée comes from east-facing vineyard parcels, including Pied de Chaume and Chanevarie, with deep soils that support the development of expressive fruit and a generous palate. Made from carefully selected grapes, the wine balances ripe berry flavours with freshness and supple tannins.
Aged in previously used oak barrels without new oak, Préface preserves the natural character of the fruit while gaining texture and complexity. Its approachable style makes it enjoyable in its youth, while its structure also offers the potential to develop further in the cellar.
