Domaine Jolivet Saint-Joseph "L'Instinct" 2023 is a characterful Northern Rhône Syrah made from old vines planted on south- and southeast-facing granite and loess slopes. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged for around 12 months in barrel, allowing the ripe fruit, floral character, spice, and mineral freshness to remain prominent. 

Tasting Notes

Colour:
Deep ruby-purple with violet reflections.

Nose:
Blackberry, blackcurrant, violet, black pepper, bay leaf, warm stone, and subtle smoky notes.

Palate:
Full and juicy, with concentrated dark fruit, fine silky tannins, fresh structure, and a distinctive mineral character.

Finish:
Long, fresh, and spicy with lingering blackberry, pepper, violet, and subtle liquorice notes.
