The Domaine Trénel Bourgogne Chardonnay 2021 is a refined expression of Burgundy Chardonnay, crafted by Maison Trénel, one of Burgundy's historic wine houses founded in 1928. Renowned for producing elegant wines that faithfully express their terroir, Maison Trénel combines traditional Burgundian winemaking with meticulous vineyard selection to create wines of balance, freshness, and authenticity.

The 2021 vintage is sourced from carefully selected vineyards across Bourgogne AOC, where limestone and clay soils provide the ideal foundation for Chardonnay. Despite the challenges of the 2021 growing season, the vintage produced wines with exceptional freshness, vibrant acidity, and remarkable aromatic purity. The grapes are gently pressed before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation on fine lees to enhance texture while preserving the wine's bright fruit and mineral character. The result is a classic white Burgundy that is approachable in its youth while retaining excellent finesse and elegance.

Fresh aromas of green apple, pear, white peach, lemon zest, acacia blossom, citrus flowers, and subtle chalky minerality.

Light to medium-bodied with vibrant flavours of crisp apple, pear, lemon, white peach, and grapefruit. Fresh acidity is balanced by a smooth, rounded texture from lees ageing, leading to an elegant mineral backbone.

Finish:
Clean, crisp, and refreshing with lingering citrus, orchard fruits, and delicate mineral notes.
