Crafted by Maison Trénel, founded in 1928 and now part of the M. Chapoutier family, this wine showcases the exceptional quality and distinctive terroir of Pouilly-Fuissé through refined winemaking and careful vineyard selection.

The 2023 vintage is sourced from vineyards surrounding the iconic Roches de Solutré and Vergisson, where mature Chardonnay vines, typically 45 to 60 years old, are rooted in limestone, marl, and clay soils. The grapes are gently pressed before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with approximately 25% of the wine fermented and matured in French oak barrels. This restrained use of oak preserves the purity of the fruit while adding subtle texture and complexity, resulting in a Chardonnay that is both rich and mineral-driven.
