The Domaine Trénel Saint-Véran 2022 is a refined 100% Chardonnay from the prestigious Saint-Véran AOC, one of the southernmost appellations in Burgundy's Mâconnais region. Crafted by Maison Trénel, founded in 1928 and now part of the M. Chapoutier family, this elegant white Burgundy captures the freshness, generosity, and mineral character that have made Saint-Véran one of the region's most sought-after Chardonnay appellations.

The 2022 vintage is sourced from carefully selected vineyards surrounding the villages of Davayé, Prissé, Chânes, Chasselas, Leynes, Saint-Amour, and Saint-Vérand, planted on classic clay-limestone soils. Following gentle settling, the juice is fermented with indigenous yeasts under temperature-controlled conditions. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks and 25% French oak barrels, with partial malolactic fermentation to achieve a harmonious balance between freshness, richness, and complexity. Light filtration preserves the purity and finesse of the finished wine.

Pale gold with brilliant golden reflections.

Nose:
Intense aromas of white flowers, lime blossom, ripe peach, white pear, citrus zest, and subtle hints of butter and minerality.

Palate:
Medium to full-bodied with flavours of peach, pear, lemon, and orchard fruits. The palate is generous and rounded, balanced by lively acidity and elegant limestone minerality. Gentle oak ageing adds subtle creaminess and depth without overpowering the fruit.

Finish:
Long, fresh, and mineral-driven with lingering citrus, white flowers, and vibrant acidity.
