Domaine Vincent Pinard Sancerre "Vendanges Entières" 2023 is an expressive and age-worthy Pinot Noir from the renowned Sancerre appellation in France's Loire Valley. Crafted by Florent and Clément Pinard, this distinctive cuvée comes from the La Pèlerine vineyard, a small parcel of approximately 35 ares planted on clay-limestone soils over a limestone subsoil. The vines are around 35–40 years old, producing concentrated fruit through carefully controlled yields and meticulous vineyard work.
The wine is distinguished by its whole-cluster fermentation, a technique that enhances aromatic complexity and contributes additional structure and character. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and gently managed during maceration, it is aged for approximately 18 months in four oak barrels, with no new oak used for the 2023 vintage. Bottled without fining or filtration, it expresses the depth of its vineyard while retaining the freshness and elegance associated with Sancerre Pinot Noir.
