Felsina Chianti Classico Riserva Berardenga 2020 750ml

Fèlsina Chianti Classico Riserva Berardenga 2020 is a refined Tuscan red wine made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the southeastern part of the Chianti Classico appellation. The vineyards sit on ventilated slopes at elevations of approximately 320–420 metres, with varied soils including quartz-rich sandstone, calcareous alberese, alluvial pebbles and loam. The wine is matured in Slavonian oak and used French oak for 12–16 months before further bottle ageing.
The 2020 vintage offers an elegant combination of ripe dark and red fruit, floral, mineral, herbal and spicy nuances. Bright acidity and supple yet structured tannins provide balance and depth, making it suitable for both immediate enjoyment and further ageing.

Colour:
Ruby red with fine intensity and bright tonal depth.

Nose:
Spicy and expressive with wild berries, cherry, floral notes, mint, lavender, wild rosemary and mineral nuances.

Palate:
Medium to full-bodied with dark cherry, raspberry and fresh fruit supported by bright acidity and supple, structured tannins. Subtle earthy, mineral, herbal and spicy notes add complexity.

Finish:
Long and persistent with lingering cherry, wild berry, mineral, spice and earthy notes.
