Felsina Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia 2020 750ml

Fèlsina Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia 2020 is a distinguished Tuscan red wine made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown in the historic Rancia vineyard in Castelnuovo Berardenga. Located at approximately 400–420 metres above sea level, the vineyard features limestone-derived alberese and galestro soils. The wine is fermented and macerated in stainless steel before maturing in French oak for approximately 18–20 months, followed by additional bottle ageing.
The 2020 vintage combines concentrated red and dark fruit with distinctive mineral character, floral notes, spice and subtle oak nuances. Vibrant acidity and fine-grained, structured tannins provide balance, depth and a long, persistent finish.

Colour:
Bright ruby red with rich, intense tones and subtle garnet depth.

Nose:
Complex and expressive with ripe cherry, wild berries, cranberry, dried violet, floral notes, warm spice, mineral nuances and subtle toasted oak.

Palate:
Full and focused with concentrated red and dark fruit, ripe cherry and plum supported by vibrant acidity and firm yet supple tannins. Mineral and spicy nuances add structure and complexity.

Finish:
Long and persistent with warm fruit, mineral character, spice and refined tannins.
