Felsina Fontalloro 2020 750ml

Fèlsina Fontalloro 2020 is a prestigious Tuscan red wine and one of Fèlsina's most representative expressions of Sangiovese. The grapes are sourced from vineyards straddling the border between Chianti Classico and Chianti Colli Senesi, at elevations of approximately 330–407 metres. The vineyards feature diverse soils ranging from rocky, calcareous and clay-rich soils to sandy, silty soils with pebbles and marine sediments, contributing to the wine's distinctive complexity and mineral character.
The 2020 vintage combines concentrated dark and red fruit with floral, mineral, earthy and spicy nuances. Vibrant acidity, substantial tannins and refined oak integration provide structure, freshness and excellent ageing potential.

Colour:
Bright ruby red with rich and intense tones.

Nose:
Complex and expressive with ripe cherry, wild plum, blackcurrant, violet, lavender, wild rosemary, tobacco, earth and subtle spice.

Palate:
Full-bodied and concentrated with dark and red fruit supported by lively acidity and substantial, chewy tannins. Savoury, mineral and earthy nuances add depth and complexity.
