Hakushu 18 Years Single Malt Whisky 700ml is a premium Japanese single malt from The Hakushu Distillery, located deep within the forested mountains of Yamanashi Prefecture. The distillery is surrounded by the natural environment of the Southern Japanese Alps, an important part of Hakushu's distinctive character.
Matured for a minimum of 18 years in a combination of American white oak casks, this expression develops greater depth and complexity while retaining the fresh, herbal and lightly smoky character associated with Hakushu.
The whisky is known for its elegant combination of ripe fruit, green herbs, subtle smoke, oak and gentle sweetness. Compared with younger Hakushu expressions, the 18 Year Old offers significantly greater richness and maturity while maintaining the distillery's characteristic freshness.

Deep golden amber.
Nose:
Elegant and complex with ripe pear, dried fruit, mint, herbal notes and gentle smoke, accompanied by vanilla and oak.
Palate:
Rich and layered with ripe fruit, honey, citrus peel and herbal character, followed by subtle spice, oak and delicate smoke.
Finish:
Long, warm and refined with lingering smoke, herbal notes, dried fruit and gentle oak spice.
