Heartland Shiraz 2021 is a vibrant and expressive Australian Shiraz from Langhorne Creek, South Australia. Made from mature Shiraz vines, the wine showcases generous dark fruit character balanced by natural acidity and refined tannins.
The 2021 vintage offers aromas of fresh blackberry, blueberry, plum jam and liquorice, complemented by cinnamon, sweet spice and black pepper. The palate is fresh, lively and layered with dark forest fruits, supported by well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.
The wine was matured for 12 months in second-use French and American oak hogsheads, adding subtle spice, savoury depth and texture while allowing the fruit to remain the focus.

Colour:
Deep, opaque purple with intense dark red and violet reflections.

Nose:
Aromatic and expressive with fresh blackberry, blueberry, boysenberry and plum jam, accompanied by liquorice, cinnamon and black pepper.

Medium to full-bodied with vibrant dark forest fruits, blackberry and plum flavours. Sweet spice and pepper add complexity, while well-integrated tannins provide structure and balance.

Finish:
Long, fresh and persistent with lingering dark fruit, liquorice, sweet spice and subtle black pepper.
