J. Denuzière Côte-Rôtie 2020 is an exceptional expression of 100% Syrah from one of the Northern Rhône's most prestigious appellations. Produced by the historic Maison J. Denuzière, founded in 1876 in Condrieu, this elegant Côte-Rôtie is sourced from steep hillside vineyards surrounding Ampuis, where mica schist, gneiss, and granite soils produce wines renowned for their perfume, finesse, and longevity.

The grapes are hand-harvested in 20kg crates and undergo 100% whole-bunch fermentation, allowing a natural semi-carbonic fermentation before gentle foot treading. The wine is then matured for 15–18 months in a combination of 500L demi-muids, 300L barrels, and 228L French oak barrels (1–3 years old), enhancing texture and complexity while preserving the purity of the fruit. The outstanding 2020 vintage delivers remarkable aromas of blackberries, violets, black pepper, smoked herbs, and granite minerality, supported by silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and exceptional ageing potential.
