The Jade Gross Harrobia 2024 is the flagship single-vineyard Tempranillo from Jade Gross Wines, crafted in San Vicente de la Sonsierra in Rioja Alavesa. Named "Harrobia", the Basque word for "La Cantera" (The Quarry), this wine originates from the very first vineyard acquired by Jade Gross when she began her Rioja project. Located beneath the Sierra de Toloño, the cool, high-altitude site produces Tempranillo with exceptional freshness, vibrant acidity, and remarkable elegance.

The wine is made from 100% Tempranillo sourced from a single west-facing vineyard planted with 39-year-old bush vines at an altitude of 650 metres. The vines grow on a distinctive mix of limestone, clay, and sandstone soils, extending the growing season and allowing the fruit to develop outstanding complexity while retaining natural freshness. The grapes were hand-harvested on 29 September 2024, with 70% destemmed and 30% whole-bunch fermentation carried out in open-top vessels. The wine was then matured for 13 months in predominantly 500L French oak barrels, of which 30% were new, striking a perfect balance between fruit purity and oak refinement. Only 2,258 individually numbered bottles were produced, making this one of Rioja's rarest artisan wines.
