Jean Fournier Marsannay Cuvée Saint Urbain Blanc 2023 is a vibrant and terroir-driven white Burgundy from the northern Côte de Nuits in Marsannay, France. Crafted by Domaine Jean Fournier, one of the oldest estates in Marsannay dating back to the 17th century, this cuvée reflects the domaine’s commitment to organic farming and low-intervention winemaking under Laurent Fournier’s direction.

Unlike traditional Burgundy whites made purely from Chardonnay, Cuvée Saint Urbain Blanc is a distinctive field blend dominated by Chardonnay alongside small portions of Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay Rosé, and Pinot Beurot, contributing added aromatic complexity and texture.

The 2023 vintage showcases freshness, mineral precision, and layered orchard fruit character, balanced by subtle reduction, lively acidity, and refined texture. Fermented with native yeasts and aged mostly in neutral oak, the wine captures the energy and purity that have made Jean Fournier one of Marsannay’s benchmark producers.
