Juyondai Banshu Yamadanishiki Daigokujou Nama Junmai Daiginjo (十四代 播州山田錦 大極上生 純米大吟醸) is one of the most exclusive seasonal releases from the legendary Takagi Shuzo brewery in Yamagata Prefecture. Crafted using 100% premium Banshu Yamada Nishiki, Japan's most celebrated sake rice grown in Hyogo Prefecture, this ultra-premium Junmai Daiginjo showcases the brewery's highest level of craftsmanship. The designation Daigokujou (大極上) signifies an exceptional brewing standard, while Nama (生) indicates the sake is unpasteurised, preserving its vibrant freshness, aromatic intensity, and pure character.

Polished to an exceptional 35% rice polishing ratio, this limited-production sake delivers remarkable elegance and precision. Expressive aromas of white peach, Hami melon, ripe pear, and delicate white flowers unfold into a luxuriously silky palate, balanced by refined sweetness, vibrant acidity, and elegant umami. The lively freshness unique to Nama sake enhances its depth and complexity, culminating in a remarkably long and crystal-clear finish. Revered by collectors worldwide, this is considered one of the finest expressions of the Juyondai portfolio.
