Kokuryu Shizuku Daiginjo (黒龍雫大吟醸 しずく) is one of the most prestigious and highly regarded Daiginjo sake from Kokuryu Sake Brewing in Fukui Prefecture. The name "Shizuku" (雫) means "drop", referring to the traditional shizuku-dori gravity-drip pressing method where the sake is naturally collected drop by drop from hanging cotton bags filled with moromi (fermenting sake mash), without mechanical pressure. This delicate technique produces an exceptionally pure, refined, and elegant sake.

Crafted using premium Yamada Nishiki rice from Hyogo Prefecture and polished to a high degree, Kokuryu Shizuku showcases the brewery's philosophy of precision and harmony. Slow low-temperature fermentation creates a beautifully balanced Daiginjo with refined aromas of pear, apple, and floral notes, complemented by a clean, silky texture and elegant mineral-driven finish.
