Levantine Hill Levant Chardonnay 2024 750ml

Levantine Hill Levant Chardonnay 2024 is an elegant cool-climate Chardonnay from the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay, the wine showcases the freshness, mineral character and layered complexity associated with the region.

The grapes were whole-bunch pressed before the juice was settled overnight and transferred to foudres and smaller-format barrels for fermentation. The wine was aged on settled lees with minimal stirring, while selected barrels underwent full malolactic fermentation to enhance richness and complexity.

Tasting Notes

Colour:

Pale straw yellow with bright, clear reflections.

Nose:

Aromatic and complex, with fresh lemon and lime, green papaya, lemon verbena, gardenia and ginger. Savoury fennel, flinty minerality and subtle spice add further depth.

Palate:

Deep, long and flavourful, showing lemon tart, lime pith, almond and flint characters. Integrated acidity provides freshness and structure, while the lees ageing and partial malolactic fermentation contribute texture and richness.

Finish:

Long, fresh and mineral-driven, with lingering citrus, almond and flinty notes supported by refined acidity.
