Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Champagne 2016 is one of the world's most celebrated prestige cuvées, crafted exclusively from the finest Grand Cru estate vineyards owned by Champagne Louis Roederer. First created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, Cristal has become an enduring symbol of luxury, elegance, and exceptional craftsmanship. Produced only in outstanding vintages, each release reflects the unique character of the growing season while maintaining Cristal's unmistakable purity, finesse, and remarkable ageing potential.

The exceptional 2016 vintage is a blend of 58% Pinot Noir and 42% Chardonnay, harvested from Grand Cru vineyards across Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs. Approximately 31% of the wines are vinified in French oak, while malolactic fermentation is deliberately avoided to preserve freshness, energy, and precision. After extended lees ageing, Cristal 2016 reveals extraordinary layers of citrus, white peach, pear, toasted brioche, roasted almonds, chalk, and saline minerality with an exceptionally fine mousse. This outstanding vintage has received widespread critical acclaim, including 98 points from James Suckling and 98+ points from The Wine Independent, confirming its place among the finest Champagnes of the decade.
