Massolino Barolo Parussi 2019 is a distinguished single-vineyard Barolo crafted exclusively from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the prestigious Parussi cru of Castiglione Falletto. Unlike Massolino's renowned Serralunga d'Alba vineyards, Parussi offers a unique expression of Barolo, producing wines celebrated for their remarkable elegance, aromatic finesse, and silky tannins while retaining the structure and longevity synonymous with the Massolino name. Acquired by the family in 2007, Parussi represents the estate's only cru outside Serralunga and has quickly become one of its flagship wines.

The exceptional 2019 vintage combines concentration with freshness, resulting in a Barolo of outstanding purity and balance. Vinified using traditional methods with extended maceration before ageing for approximately 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks, the wine faithfully expresses the distinctive terroir of Castiglione Falletto. Elegant floral aromas, vibrant red fruits, refined spice, and beautifully integrated tannins make this an age-worthy Barolo that can also be enjoyed today with proper decanting.

Nose:
Elegant aromas of fresh rose petals, wild cherry, raspberry, orange peel, mint, sweet spices, sandalwood, tobacco, and subtle leather notes.

Palate:
Full-bodied with beautifully layered flavours of ripe cherry, red berries, liquorice, dried herbs, and crushed stone, supported by vibrant acidity, silky yet structured tannins, and exceptional mineral precision. Graceful, refined, and perfectly balanced.

Finish:
Long, elegant, and persistent with lingering red fruits, floral notes, tobacco, spice, and savoury mineral complexity.
