Mollydooker Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz 2022 750ml is a rich and powerful Shiraz from Mollydooker's Family Series, sourced from selected vineyards in McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek.
The 2022 vintage is deeply coloured and intensely aromatic, showing expressive blueberry, fresh plum and mocha cream. On the palate, generous layers of fresh berries are complemented by aniseed spice and creamy chocolate, while gentle tannins provide a smooth, lingering finish.
The wine was barrel fermented and matured in 100% American oak, with 54% new oak and 46% one-year-old barrels. Its Marquis Fruit Weight™ is 79%, placing it comfortably within the Family Series target range of 75–85%.
The name Blue Eyed Boy refers to Sarah Marquis' son, Luke, who grew up stomping grapes and later became part of Mollydooker's sales team.
