Mollydooker Gigglepot Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 750ml is a premium single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Mollydooker's Family Series, showcasing the rich and elegant character of Cabernet Sauvignon from McLaren Vale.
The grapes are sourced from the Rivers Lane Vineyard in McLaren Vale. The 2022 vintage was barrel fermented and matured in 79% American oak and 21% French oak, using a combination of new and one-year-old barrels. The wine achieved an actual Marquis Fruit Weight™ of 76%, reflecting its concentrated fruit character.
The 2022 Gigglepot displays a generous combination of forest fruit, blackcurrant and roasted coffee, followed by layers of blackberry, cigar, spice and rich chocolate cream. Despite its concentration, delicate tannins give the wine a smooth and polished texture.
