Founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, considered the father of Japanese whisky, Nikka Whisky Company produces a wide and diverse range of whiskies at its two distilleries located in northern Japan: Yoichi and Miyagikyo. Renowned for both its single malts and its unparalleled precision and complexity blends, Nikka was born from a true passion for whisky, which Taketsuru discovered in Scotland. It is also there that he met his wife Rita, who inspired and supported him in realizing his dream of producing authentic whisky in Japan.

Made in the traditional Coffey column stills used to distill Nikka grain whiskies, this vodka is the result of blending a corn distillate and a malted barley distillate. At bottling, it is filtered through birch wood charcoal to retain as much creaminess and balance as possible. Created by the Nikka blenders team, it surprises with its aromatic intensity, its unusual roundness on the palate in tasting and brings an extra body to cocktails.
