Olivier Leflaive Bourgogne Les Sétilles Blanc 750ml is a signature white Burgundy from Olivier Leflaive, made from 100% Chardonnay sourced primarily from selected parcels around the prestigious villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault in the Côte de Beaune. The producer describes Les Sétilles as a signature wine of the House, with the name referring to the cadastral location of Olivier Leflaive's cellar.
The wine is sourced from approximately 60 different Climats, with additional parcels from the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise used depending on the vintage. The vineyards sit at approximately 230–250 metres altitude, on predominantly clay-limestone and silty-clay soils.
Olivier Leflaive vinifies Les Sétilles with the same attention to detail applied to its more prestigious Burgundy wines. Depending on the vintage, the wine undergoes fermentation and maturation in a combination of oak barrels and stainless-steel or tank vessels, creating a balance between Chardonnay fruit, texture, freshness and subtle oak complexity.
The resulting Burgundy offers an attractive combination of white flowers, peach, lemon peel and roasted almond, supported by a mineral character and a lively, rounded finish.
