Olivier Leflaive Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc 2022 is an elegant village-level Chardonnay from the prestigious appellation of Chassagne-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune, Burgundy. Produced by Olivier Leflaive Frères, one of Burgundy's most respected producers, this wine beautifully expresses the diversity of Chassagne's renowned terroirs. The cuvée is crafted from estate-owned vineyards Les Houillères and Les Pierres, complemented by carefully selected parcels in Charrières, Blanchot Dessous, and Morichots. The calcareous clay and silty clay soils contribute exceptional richness, freshness, and mineral precision.

The exceptional 2022 vintage enjoyed abundant sunshine, healthy fruit, and ideal ripening conditions while preserving remarkable freshness and balance. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and vinified using 100% whole clusters, followed by 24-hour static settling. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in French oak barrels before ageing for 18 months, including six months of blending in stainless steel tanks. Matured entirely in oak barrels, with 20% new French oak, the wine delivers generous texture, refined complexity, and outstanding ageing potential.

Medium to full-bodied with vibrant layers of citrus, white peach, ripe pear, and orchard fruits, complemented by creamy texture, lively acidity, refined French oak, and pronounced limestone minerality. Rich yet beautifully balanced with exceptional finesse and purity.

Finish:
Long, elegant, and mineral-driven with lingering citrus, white fruits, toasted hazelnut, wet stone, and refreshing saline notes.
