Olivier Leflaive Meursault 1er Cru Sous Le Dos D'Ane 2022 is an exceptional Premier Cru Chardonnay from one of Meursault's highest-altitude vineyards, located on the slopes of Blagny adjacent to the renowned Perrières Dessus vineyard. Produced exclusively from estate-owned vines by Olivier Leflaive Frères, this distinguished Burgundy reflects the unique terroir of calcareous clay soils, delivering remarkable freshness, minerality, and precision. The vineyard is farmed under High Environmental Value (HVE Level 3) certification, with all grapes harvested by hand to ensure exceptional fruit quality.

The outstanding 2022 vintage benefited from abundant sunshine and healthy fruit, resulting in a wine of impressive concentration while maintaining vibrant acidity and elegance. Vinified using whole-cluster pressing with alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, followed by 18 months of ageing with 25% new oak, this Premier Cru develops exceptional complexity and texture. Sous Le Dos D'Ane is renowned for its refined balance of ripe fruit, toasted nuts, citrus freshness, and distinctive flinty minerality, offering both immediate appeal and excellent ageing potential.
