Patrick Javillier Meursault “Les Tillets” 2023 is a precise and highly expressive white Burgundy from one of Meursault’s most distinctive hillside vineyards. Domaine Patrick Javillier, a benchmark producer in the Côte de Beaune, is known for balancing richness and linear freshness, delivering Chardonnay that is both textured and finely mineral.

“Les Tillets” is a high-altitude lieu-dit situated near the upper slopes of Meursault, close to the forest edge. The shallow limestone soils here produce wines that are more vertical and structured compared to richer village parcels, often showing a slightly more Puligny-like tension and drive. The 2023 vintage amplifies this character, combining ripe fruit purity with vibrant acidity and a stony, saline backbone.

This cuvée is widely regarded as one of Javillier’s more mineral and focused Meursault expressions, offering energy, precision, and ageing potential while still retaining the classic Meursault generosity.
