Discover Patrick Javillier Meursault Les Tillets 2024, an elegant white Burgundy from one of Meursault's distinctive hillside vineyards. Produced by Domaine Patrick Javillier, this village-level Chardonnay showcases the balance between the richness traditionally associated with Meursault and the freshness and mineral precision of its elevated limestone terroir.

Situated high on the slope above the village at approximately 350 metres, Les Tillets benefits from rocky limestone soils with limited topsoil. The domaine's holdings comprise several small parcels, with vines ranging from approximately 30 to over 70 years old. These conditions contribute to the wine's distinctive freshness, concentration and mineral character.

The Chardonnay grapes are carefully sorted, pressed and settled before fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine is matured in French oak barrels, with approximately 30% new oak, and aged on fine lees to develop texture and complexity while preserving its natural freshness.

The 2024 vintage opens with precise aromas of lemon, lime, lime blossom and lemon curd, complemented by delicate white flowers and subtle oak nuances. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced, combining ripe citrus and stone fruit with a focused mineral backbone, lively acidity and a subtle saline character.

A refined Meursault that offers both richness and tension, making it an excellent choice for lovers of sophisticated Burgundy Chardonnay.
