Rosebank 30 Years Legacy Release 1 Single Malt Whisky 700ml

Rosebank 30 Years Legacy Release One is a rare and historic Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in 1990, just three years before the original Rosebank Distillery closed its doors. Released in 2020 by Ian MacLeod Distillers, this was the first bottling in Rosebank's Legacy series, created from remaining stocks of the original distillery.

Triple distilled and matured for three decades in a carefully selected combination of 62% refill sherry butts and 38% refill bourbon hogsheads, this exceptional vintage balances Rosebank's delicate, elegant character with layers of fruit, oak, spice, and floral sweetness.

Bottled at 48.6% ABV without chill filtration and with natural colouring, Release One is limited to just 4,350 bottles worldwide, making it a significant collector's expression from the historic Rosebank distillery.

Tasting Notes

Colour:

Bright golden amber.

Nose:

Soft and creamy, with caramel wafer, vanilla, nutmeg, white grape, gooseberry, almonds, honey, and fresh lemon.

Palate:

Delicate and crisp, revealing gentle syrup, pear, tropical fruit, candied almonds, and pleasing oak spice with a smooth, balanced character.

Finish:

Soft yet long, with candied violets, orange, and a subtle hint of fresh mint lingering on the palate.
