Rosebank 32 Years Legacy Release 3 Single Malt Whisky 700ml

Rosebank 32 Years Legacy Release Three is an exceptionally rare Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky and the third and final expression in Rosebank's first global Legacy series. Distilled in 1992, during the final years of the original Rosebank Distillery's operation, this remarkable whisky was drawn from a carefully selected range of casks preserved before the distillery closed in 1993.

After 32 years of maturation, the whisky showcases the celebrated Rosebank character with an elegant combination of tropical fruit, citrus, floral sweetness, gentle oak, herbs, and warming spice. Triple distillation contributes to its refined and delicate spirit character, while the extended maturation brings remarkable depth and complexity.

Bottled in 2023 at 47.6% ABV and without chill filtration, Legacy Release Three represents the culmination of Rosebank's first series of historic releases and a significant collector's expression from one of Scotland's most revered Lowland distilleries.

Tasting Notes

Colour:

Delicate golden straw.

Nose:

Elegant and balanced, with boiled sweets, pineapple cubes, dried apricot, gentle oak, candied ginger, lemon drizzle, and marzipan, complemented by hints of white pepper and café latte.

Palate:

Velvety and full-bodied, revealing malt, thyme, butterscotch, tropical fruits, drying oak, and softly warming spice.

Finish:

Soft, long, and refined, with lemon, honeyed porridge, and toasted walnut lingering on the palate.
