Salicutti Brunello di Montalcino Sorgente DOCG 2019 is a refined Tuscan red wine made from 100% Sangiovese from the estate's Sorgente vineyard in Montalcino. Sorgente, meaning "spring," is the highest of Salicutti's vineyards and is characterized by compact clay-rich soils and a southwest-facing slope. The site contributes concentration, freshness and distinctive mineral complexity to the wine.

The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, followed by extended maturation in French oak barrels for approximately three years and a further year of bottle ageing. The result is a complex and age-worthy Brunello combining ripe red fruit, floral aromas, herbs, spice and balsamic nuances with elegant acidity and refined tannins.

Long, refined and persistent, with lingering red fruit, floral, herbal and mineral notes supported by fresh acidity and gradually developing tannins.
