Distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2024 after approximately 20 years of maturation, this single-origin expression showcases the rich and distinctive character associated with traditional Guyanese rum. Extended maturation allows the spirit to develop layers of dark fruit, caramel, spice, wood and deep molasses-driven character while retaining the complexity and structure of its original distillate.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep amber with rich copper and mahogany reflections.

Nose: Rich and expressive with dark caramel, molasses, dried tropical fruit and raisin aromas. Layers of vanilla, toasted oak, baking spice and subtle earthy notes add depth and complexity.

Palate: Full-flavoured and textured with dark caramel, molasses, dried fruit and rich brown sugar characters. Notes of raisin, dark chocolate, vanilla, oak and warm spices develop across the palate, supported by a balanced combination of sweetness, spice and mature wood character.

Finish: Long, warming and complex with lingering caramel, dried fruit, molasses, dark chocolate, vanilla and gentle spice.
