Created from a combination of carefully selected single malt whiskies, the expression showcases a balanced and approachable style while retaining the depth and character associated with traditional Scotch whisky.

The Apprentice expression is designed to offer an accessible introduction to Samaroli's approach to blending and whisky selection. Rather than focusing on a single distillery, the blend brings together different malt whisky components to create layers of fruit, cereal, vanilla, spice and gentle oak.

Bottled at 45.0% ABV, the whisky maintains a satisfying level of flavour and texture while remaining smooth and approachable. Its balanced profile makes it suitable for both newcomers to premium Scotch and experienced whisky enthusiasts.

Tasting Notes
Colour:

Bright golden amber with warm straw and light copper reflections.

Nose:

Fresh and inviting with orchard fruit, ripe pear, apple and citrus, accompanied by vanilla, honey, malt and subtle floral notes. Gentle oak and soft spice add complexity.

Palate:

Smooth and rounded with notes of ripe apple, pear, citrus, honey and sweet malt. Vanilla, light caramel and delicate baking spice develop across the palate, supported by a gentle oak character.

Finish:

Medium-long and warming with lingering orchard fruit, vanilla, honey, malt and soft spice.
