Mario Schiopetto Collio Pinot Grigio DOC 2017 is an iconic expression of 100% Pinot Grigio from one of Friuli-Venezia Giulia's most influential wineries. Founded by the legendary Mario Schiopetto, the estate is widely recognised as a pioneer of modern Italian white winemaking, renowned for producing wines of exceptional purity, elegance, and longevity. Sourced from the marl-rich hills of Collio DOC, this wine showcases the remarkable minerality and freshness that have made the region famous worldwide.

The grapes are hand-harvested from hillside vineyards before undergoing gentle whole-cluster pressing and a brief settling period without sulphur dioxide. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using a pied de cuve (native yeast starter), followed by 8 months of ageing on the fine lees and additional bottle refinement. This meticulous approach preserves the wine's freshness while adding texture, complexity, and remarkable ageing potential.
