Cognac has traditionally been served in large glasses similar to a Brandy Balloon, despite the fact that this style works against the characters of cognac. The smaller, tulip-shaped Cognac glass harmonizes aroma and taste and emphasizes the bouquet. Offering its contents, a very small evaporation surfaces to temper the alcohol and stringency on the palate.
